4 Quick & Easy Protein Shake Recipes

If you have a protein shake everyday or you just have one every once in a while it’s always nice to taste a variety of flavors as you get your vital nutrients and protein. The following recipes were chosen because of their simplicity. All of the following shakes were made with just the ingredients below & the GNC On-The-Go Blender.

Beyond-Raw-smoothie-ingredientsThe GNC social media team (Kelly, Brittany, Dan) took to the kitchen in world headquarters to try out the following shakes.

 

1. Chocolate Covered Banana Shake

8 oz. water or milk & 2-3 ice cubes

1 scoop Beyond Raw Re-Grow Double Chocolate powder

1/2 banana

Place water in the blender first, then powder, then additions. Blend on low then high until well blended.

Dan’s Review: “The banana in the shake gave it a refreshing and clean taste that mixed well with the chocolate flavor of the protein powder”

2. Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake Recipe5

8 oz. water or milk & 2-3 ice cubes

1 scoop Beyond Raw Re-Grow Double Chocolate powder

1 tbs. peanut butter

Place water in the blender first, then powder, then additions. Blend on low then high until well blended.

Kelly’s Review: “I liked the Peanut Butter shake the best because of the combined taste, texture, and consistency!”

 

3. Butterscotch Chocolate Shake

8 oz. water or milk & 2-3 ice cubes

1 scoop Beyond Raw Double Chocolate powder

2 tbs. butterscotch pudding mix

Place water in the blender first, then powder, then additions. Blend on low then high until well blended.

Brittany’s Review: “My favorite aspect of this one was the consistency—it really fills you up and tastes like a sweet treat.”

 

Smoothie-Strawberry4. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake

8 oz. water or milk & 2-3 ice cubes

1 scoop Beyond Raw Double Chocolate powder

8 strawberries (stems cut off)

Place water in the blender first, then powder, then additions. Blend on low then high until well blended.

Brittany’s Review: “This one was my favorite! I liked the taste of the berries, which weren’t killed by the flavor of the protein powder.”

The above recipes used Beyond Raw Re-Grow which is a two phase anabolic protein that works to build lean muscle though protein synthesis. It provides 60g protein, 12 g of leucine, and 10g of glutamine per serving. Re-Grow is just one of many product in GNC’s full line of Beyond Raw products.
